Dens are planned, not for the bats, as the castle is there den. thats why you get sent to a small "Garbage" room.
They were done with liam, so they throw you away :3. very rood doods.

My point with mentioning the castle den was that leaving the garbage room sets you back to the start of the castle, acting as a light punishment. I actually like how all the creatures in the castle share a den. The point was it was an example of this system being used as a purposeful punishment for failing rather than just a side effect of having to teleport back after being sent all the way back to the singular werewolf/wendigo den. This would also give the opportunity to change how punishing a failed encounter is, instead of it usually being a reset to the start of the map.

I was just suggesting that the different individual werewolves and wendigos get their own smaller dens so that it feels like they actually live near where you find them, rather than them having wandered incredibly far from their homes. It makes more sense for them to just have their own den nearby rather than making the journey back to the shared den and then back to their regular locations. It would also mean players would be able to just walk out and seamlessly return to the map and not have to go through the fast travel menu to get back to where they were.

Again, it's not really a pressing issue or anything, I just think it would be cool to see the older uses of this system mildly expanded upon at some point. It also would mean you could add a hard mode that makes the interactions more challenging without the constant, possibly major, setbacks becoming too frustrating.
