I ended up playing this game for nearly 2 hours to win at every mode (Overworked was most difficult, kept losing to sleep).  The art, music, and mechanics all feel cohesive with the central idea of balancing life.  The card UI noise/scaling on hover + click sound is very satisfying. Solid use of the theme.

Did you take inspiration from any other games for the mechanics? I really like the stat trading.

I really love how incredibly well this takes something you experience in the world and expresses it through mechanics. I think this game will stick with me for a while.

For the inspiration, I did take inspiration from the game called You're just imagining it here on itch. It has a sort of stat trading, but the gameplay is more of a narration on the developer's experience. As far as I know, you only have one ending there. 

I wanted to make believable emergent endings based on your choices and I created an automated simulation to balance the parameters. You can maybe read some of it from my devlog. :)
