Turning every action into something the player has to buy is a very interesting idea.

I feel like the game could push this concept even further. Almost everything in the game could become a purchase: music and sound effects, resolution settings, the player’s appearance, and even whether NPCs appear or not.

This idea has a lot of potential. It could even become a full indie game that players would be willing to pay for.

This was actually my original vision, where the player would have to buy various components within each level, including the background and individual bricks within, but didn't have time to execute for this one. 

I do like this idea for an incremental game, and may explore further in the future.
