Weird. I just tested it and it seems to be working fine. When you opened the chest did the key appear in the UI? Also if so then when you interact with the door does the key disappear?
it did yeah, the player slightly rotated at ~45 degrees when i approached the door, and then nothing happened. thought i needed to stand right exactly on the tile with the lock, but no luck
