I've just uploaded the APK but before installing it you usually have to enable:
Install Unknown Apps by going to Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install Unknown Apps
The clicking the download should ask you if you want to install it.
Right, well, with Play Store's advanced "protection," we now have to take further liberties, but yeah, I got it installed.
NGL, I feel mixed about the game (and I enjoy poker and particularly love The Gang, last year's co-op poker game that took the world by storm). The presentation is nice, but it takes me a while to read, because the font is way too hard to read with insufficient contrast, so the hints keep popping up. The hints are painful because they don't actually show you what they're about to match, which would be way more helpful instead; I only find out after the fact if I'm really fast to see it, which feels dissatisfying. They also feel like they trigger within 3 seconds of you staring at the board, which certainly doesn't feel anywhere near enough time; it should be at least 10 or 15 seconds.
I also don't understand why 3-of-a-kind only clears 3 cards instead of 5, since Trips are absolutely a 5-card hand in poker. For example, I could not move a third 8 into a row of 8Q988. I also couldn't move the rightmost 5 of a row containing AA53Q5 to make a 2-pair row of 5 cards.
Additionally, there is a "1" poker chip graphic at the top which graphically obscures one of the card's rank from view (row 1, column 3).
The casino background noise stops when you go straight into a tutorial. It also abruptly silences instead of smoothly fading out if you return to the menu, which has markedly plain font relative to the too-fancy, not-crisp-enough card numbers' font.
In sum, I think it's a fantastic idea but it seems to refuse actual 5-card poker hands, and rushes you to your death too quickly with such a frustratingly short timer and font that gets in the way of you finding matches faster. I could find no untimed practice mode; only the timed Daily and Free Play modes, by the way. Untimed is the way I'd go, personally!
