I just finished playing through Neofeud 2. What a game! It's an exciting journey through an alien futuristic world that's got a lot to say about ours.
I saw this being described as a "visual novel", which I think is fair because the puzzles are relatively light. It does play as a traditional point & click adventure game though, and there are a few moments where you do have to solve a real puzzle before you're able to advance.
I love the way it's designed in small pockets, that really helps to keep things flowing. Even though the game world is very large and there are a great many locations, the game never makes you roam it all freely, which also means you don't feel lost or unsure of what to do or where to go.
It's a rich game filled with great characters, locations and story that's just very charming and full of character and personality. This is exactly the kind of stuff I want to see in indie games!
