This game is amazing! I played it before the newer updates and I loved it so much I made it my goal to make a synthesis documenting the terms' meanings and the events of Trevosa in order, in spirit of documenting history. (Now that the archive's been sorted correctly, there isn't much use for it anymore. :p)

The process of figuring out which epithets and names belonged to each portrait was incredibly satisfying. It seemed really difficult in the beginning, but everything started to snap into place as time went on. I'm glad the new ending addressed the initial premise of the game: it gave the game a more satisfying ending.

Would highly recommend, 10/10, especially for what was a jam game!

P.S. Is there a pronunciation guide for the untranslated terms? Not that it needs to exist, I'm just curious.

I love to hear that, thanks! Yeah, sorting was the plan from the beginning, if we hadn’t had a bug with it. In the model of Her Story, it means that the search limit more readily shows you early documents, so it’s more of a challenge to track down the later documents - that gives the game some structure while still being overall non-linear in what you happen upon when. But I appreciate that there’s a fun aspect to having to reconstruct the order yourself too!

Fun idea about the pronunciation guide! In the context of the game we have the documents and tree only, no Trevosan to talk to, so I guess it’s up to the individual player. 🙂
