That's all good! Game jams are all about learning, and receiving feedback from a community of people who are learning as well. And sometimes it takes longer than you think to get something working and that throws your plan out the window haha. I've had that happen to me a couple of times. Learning to accurately gauge the scope of your game to fit it in the time window is challenging, but it's a really useful skill in the long run!
