There's some kind of bug in the tax calculation. Start of game after 1 prestige immediately get hit with $250k tax bill. After 2 prestiges get hit with $600k tax bill.
Great catch. The bug causing double-taxation after an IPO is now fixed. Revenue tracking now syncs correctly during prestige so only new earnings are taxed. Thanks for the specific number, they were a huge help!
