Just wanted to say this was a beautiful and powerful project! I really enjoyed a story that was going to involve a difficult conversation about biphobia and how social media/perceived ideas can be harmful. From the very instant I met Ayla and got to see her experiences, I immediately wanted to hug and protect her from everything she's went through. Even to the point where I was like "back, back I say!" to the LI's because I just wanted my girl to live her truth and be happy w/o strings attached!

I also really liked how we got an in depth view of her job as a singer as well. Not many explore the technicalities for it and I enjoyed the research that went into it, esp when it involved her looking over the lyrics and deciding which to change. Then also singing with Cheri in the duet? OH, that was sooo magical to read! Especially how they have a shared moment in harmony and describing how their voices meshed so well. It almost made me wish they just sat down and had a convo because I was like WAIT NOO CHERI COME BACCKK!!

The only thing I worry a little about was that I couldn't be on Cheri's route unless Ayla decided to withhold the truth about her being bisexual. The route also begins with them being at odds with each other, with Cheri passionately speaking against us online but refusing to speak with us about it in person. The game is obviously not finished so you likely have something cooking in the oven for them but I do hope that Ayla can come forward about her sexuality with Cheri and focus on the romance between them vs the conflict. But of course this is just my feedback based on what we saw of Cheri so this may/will likely change after the full release!

Even with that said, I do appreciate how human all your characters are. Levi, Cheri and Ayla's ex-girlfriend have real flaws and have reasons for their behaviour which means they aren't being forced into a cookie cutter personality type, which gives such a depth to this story that I'm excited to see unfold. Even with Jae, who we had a brief interaction with, he felt so real and down to earth! I loved that our date with him had a type of intimacy that didn't involve a one-night stand but shown what a deeper connection looks like regardless. Very excellent stuff!

I also wanted to give extra kudos to the grace you've been giving to others with feedback, even if it's sharply delivered. You give reference, meaning and admit truth and it speaks volumes about your character and what you're trying to accomplish with this game and its message!

The wonderful thing about art is that the same piece of art can evoke different emotions in people depending on their interpretation.

As a dev, it's valuable to see these differences, whether it be about the game itself, the synopsis or even the way it's marketed.

For better or worse, my vision for this project is unlikely to change anyway, no matter what feedback I get. (I'm way too far in with the writing to pivot based on strangers' perceptions haha.)

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback!

I did a little internal fist pump seeing that you found the technicalities of Ayla's job enjoyable to read since I'm not a singer in any way. It's 70% research and 30% me just making stuff up (LOL). It's the hardest part to write for sure. I have to set up so many things outside the realm of my expertise while also needing the characters to thrive in it enough for romance to build!

A lot of people are really looking forward to Cheri's route due to them starting out at odds with each other. My ultimate goal is to do it justice. I hope that gives you hope for the full release without spoiling anything!

I need to watch the stream playback. Super excited to see your reactions through it! 💪😊

Yess I remember you saying that! I was so impressed to see it added to the story.

And I'm also happy to see Cheri! Which is likely why I felt so bummed we saw her so little but makes me excited to see what's next. I will admit when I first played it there was some concern but after sleeping on it, I'm wanting to see more and having faith it'll develop as it should!

Yes, enjoy watching! I will warn that I did get defensive for Ayla towards the end because both Levi and Cheri were stressing me out LOL! I just wanted her to be free! So yes, you did a wonderful job inspiring conversation and so excited to see Cheri!!
