Thanks for giving the demo a chance! I shall not disappoint you with the final product! I definitely hope to inspire more people to create stories about bisexuality!

You can absolutely start now!
The ultimate aim of the jam is simply to get more gender bender games out into the world, so we aren't strict about the exact percentage of work done during the official timeline. The rule is mostly there to prevent people from submitting old games they made years ago just for promotion, since that doesn't really help create new content.
Don't stress too much about hitting an exact 50% mark. Feel free to jump in and start creating whenever you're ready!
Thank you for your kind words! It means a lot to know that the story made you feel seen, especially given what you have to navigate in real life. (Hugs.)
I love that you want to see more of Jae and Vivian. We recently recruited a writer to make Jae's route a reality so I hope you look forward to it.
Thanks for playing and for supporting the game!
I am seeking 1 co-writer and 1 Steam trailer editor for The Community Notes Are Wrong, an otome and yuri game about biphobia and going viral on social media.
This is a long-term project which up until now has been solo-developed. Currently, there is a released demo and one GxB route that is about 80% written. I aim to release the first 2 routes in September 2026 and the final route in December 2026.
Synopsis
Ayla Solace rose to fame through raw, emotional songs about the woman she loved. Her fans see her as the perfect "lesbian icon." Her agency sees her as a brand that should stay easy to sell.
Though the lesbian label never accurately described her, Ayla leaned into it to avoid disappointing her community… and to appease her ex-girlfriend, who didn't like the word bisexual.
Ayla's world shatters when a quiet date with a male barista is caught on camera and goes viral. Her bisexual identity suddenly public, Ayla must now navigate the intense biphobia and scrutiny of a social media firestorm.

Current Team
tenshi (me) - Producer, Lead Writer, Programmer
Tyrone "Stone" B. - Writer
Harisun Studios - Art
Roles Available (Please note both roles are volunteer positions)
Writer: You will be writing the full route for one male love interest. A loose outline and key narrative beats will be provided, but you will be expected to expand these into a complete route with fully developed arcs, integrated with the social media game mechanic. The target length of the route is approximately 25,000 words. Applicants must be comfortable writing 17+ romantic scenes and LGBT themes.
Steam Trailer Editor: You will be creating a short Steam trailer for the game's Steam page. Art assets and a rough Canva presentation will be provided as a reference for the structure and direction.
If you're interested, please fill out this Google form!

Maybe try https://vgen.co/HarisunStudios. I use them for my own projects, and they have many artists so you can try to find one that matches the artstyle you have, or at least ask if they can render the eyes the same way.
I know Nolan/Noelle is supposed to be the star of the show (see what I did there?) but I found Devon so hot. His fashion and his body in the CGs is fucking yum and I'm such a sucker for bros to lovers.
Leona really came around to me as the story went on too, of course. She rejected me, but I was going for Devon, so that's understandable lol.
Loved the cinematography and staging, it really brought the scenes to life.
Thank you for playing! My Patreon is tenshideve if the links don't work.
The third #ChirperQueue minigame selects the route split. The rest of the choices affect which ending you get in the final version which is not out yet.
Here's how to get the bad endings.
To get the Bad Ending in Levi's Route, a certain argument has to be escalated, and to get the Bad Ending in Cheri's route, listen to Vivian instead of Levi.
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you resonated with Ayla and her dynamic with Levi! Those two are incredibly fun to write.
It was so rare to see biphobia being discussed in stories that when I was researching how other stories had done when writing a plotline like this, I actually struggled to find any! (I discuss my struggle with that in this devlog.) Sometimes you just gotta be the change you want to see.
Thank you for your kind and detailed review! You made my day!!
I worried that the story up until this point wouldn't be romantic enough, so I'm glad you consider it a strength! (Chapter 2 of both routes has a lot of fluff coming.)
It was actually see the this type of discourse on social media that inspired me to write this story. A lot of the Chirper posts that attack Ayla in the game are, unfortunately, directly reworded from actual posts I've seen on X.
I hope you look forward to the next update!
Thank you so much for playing and leaving such nice words! You made my day!
The current game is complete, but I do plan on expanding it to include an NSFW patch if funds permit! To keep up to date with future development, please support or keep an eye on the Tenshi Studios Patreon!
This is my game concept for Hostage Heart.
Synopsis
You're a junior bank employee on what should have been a routine shift. Then a group of masked robbers storms the bank, their guns raised.
Their leader is a girl in a face mask and hoodie, purple hair peeking out beneath the fabric. She looks your manager in the eye and makes one demand.
"You have one hour to bring me Adrien Crowe, or this building explodes."
Everyone freezes; customers, staff, security. You.
Someone tries to run, but a gun goes off, and they collapse with a scream, clutching their leg. The doors lock, and within minutes the police surround the building.
Twenty minutes pass, and the CEO still has not appeared.
Then your hidden phone lights up. It's your ex, a policewoman.
"I'm outside. Tell me everything I need to know to get you out."
To survive, you will have to choose your words carefully. Earn the robber's trust, help your ex take control or play both sides long enough to uncover why this is happening at all.
Because the girl in the hood is not just another criminal. You recognise her voice.
Features:
Male protagonist with an established background and personality
Timed choices to stimulate high stakes
Multiple bad endings
Romantic endings with the masked girl or the policewoman
(All the other robbers are cute girls too)
Roles available:
I will be working as a writer and project manager. I can also do sprites, but I would prefer to work with sprite artists.
To evenly distribute workload while maintaining artstyle consistency, I will split lineart and rendering for sprites and CGs between two people.
I am aiming for a galge-style aesthetic. Characters should be attractive, expressive, and slightly cute while still fitting the tone of a tense story.
I currently estimate 2-3 backgrounds: the main lobby, a behind-the-counter view, and the bank exterior.
2x sprite artists
2x CG artists
1 CG artist (renderer, preferably one that can match styles)
1x Splash artist
2x Background artists
2x RenPy Programmers
1x UI artist
1x Editor
Please also mention if you want to do more than 1 role!
Who am I?
I'm tenshi, a writer and artist with three completed visual projects under my belt! I am the co-producer and artist of Mahou Shoujo Santa Claus and the solo developer of Ex Change. I'm currently solo developing The Community Notes Are Wrong, an otome and yuri game about biphobia, bi-erasure and going viral on social media. Since I make so many games with a female protagonist and a cast of hot men, I want to create a game with a male protagonist and a cast of cute girls for the CGDCT jam.

You can either DM me on Discord or if you'd like to go the more traditional route, email tenshideve@gmail.com
The wonderful thing about art is that the same piece of art can evoke different emotions in people depending on their interpretation.
As a dev, it's valuable to see these differences, whether it be about the game itself, the synopsis or even the way it's marketed.
For better or worse, my vision for this project is unlikely to change anyway, no matter what feedback I get. (I'm way too far in with the writing to pivot based on strangers' perceptions haha.)
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback!
I did a little internal fist pump seeing that you found the technicalities of Ayla's job enjoyable to read since I'm not a singer in any way. It's 70% research and 30% me just making stuff up (LOL). It's the hardest part to write for sure. I have to set up so many things outside the realm of my expertise while also needing the characters to thrive in it enough for romance to build!
A lot of people are really looking forward to Cheri's route due to them starting out at odds with each other. My ultimate goal is to do it justice. I hope that gives you hope for the full release without spoiling anything!
I need to watch the stream playback. Super excited to see your reactions through it! 💪😊
