Managed to pay the loan in 3:59! Didn't understand what made bees choose the flowers to create a certain type of honey (closest to center, most flowers, most recent, random?), but just watching them go was fun. Really nice art too, congratulations!

Bees just pick random flowers you planted. they just fly around and increase production speed.
The honey you get depends on the combination of flowers placed in the apiary.
