Nice little game!
The controls were a bit confusing at first, but I got the hang of them pretty quickly. I also think the regular and shooting sheep could be more distinct, since I kept confusing them sometimes.
It was fun to play anyways!
Thank you!
I'm glad you liked the sound! It's actually the first time I've tried making sounds myself, so i'm really happy it turned out well!
And I definitely agree about the enemies and upgrades. Having more variety would make the game more interesting. Coming up with new ideas and then implementing them is the hardest part though.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you had fun!
I actually tried to fix the flashlight bug, but couldn't figure out how to make it feel smooth. I'll try to fix it at some point!
I decided not to add a main menu since it's a web build. I wanted players to get straight to action. But I agree, it would definitely make the game feel more polished.
Thanks for the feedback!
I originally planned to make something like Tomodachi, where you could build a town of piggies, and they could play together and become friends. It was too much to implement in just 2 weeks, so I had to simplify the idea for the jam.
The bacon button is funny, but I think it would be a bit cruel haha. A proper reset button would actually be a good addition though.
Also thank you for reporting the sleep bug!
Thank you!
I'm currently working on making the controls more convenient and intuitive, and hopefully intuitive enough that a tutorial won't be necessary.
And good point about the music! I think sound is one of the key ingredients of the cozy genre, so adding background music would definitely be a big improvement.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!
I've actually been thinking about the "Sell All" button as a possible improvement. My main concern is that it could turn the game into a clicker, but I agree that the current selling mechanic might feel slow. I'm currently working on improving it to make it faster and more convenient.
And you're right about the upgrades! I wanted to keep it simple for the jam, but they would definitely make progression more interesting!
Thank you so much! I'm really happy you liked the game and left such a detailed comment.
I'm actually quite sensitive to bad sound design, so I try to make the audio in my game as pleasant and cohesive as possible (even though I'm not very good at it :D).
While I was making the game, the bees would sometimes get in my way and i'd accidentaly click them instead of flowers or jars. I decided to add a sound and turned it into a cute little detail for players to discover.
Great game! I really liked the visuals and gameplay.
I ran into a small issue where sometimes I didn't get a drink when crafting, even though the order seemed correct.
I think it would be nice to have some manual interactions during crafting (like stirring the pot or grinding ingredients), similar to Potioncraft.
Good job overall!
