I think some of your code may be tied to framerate?

It runs well using the windows executable file, but the jumping and gravity are very fast. Inside firefox the performance is basically unplayable due to hitching and stuttering, and it isn't possible to jump high enough to get out of the valley.

I suspect the performance issues are firefox's fault (but I could be wrong). But the framerate independence issues may be something worth looking at. I'm excited to see where this project goes!

thanks! i’m also having an issue with it seemingly getting throttled full screen in the browser on windows, haven’t figured out why

I can confirm that it is also stuttering in chrome and (obviously) edge. Or maybe it's my setup.
