Pending comments despite purchasing (Ticket #360722)

I just recently created an account to purchase a program on the website but I can’t report bugs or give feedback because of the auto moderation. You’d think that spending money on the website would make it clear that you’re not a bot account, right? It’s absurd reading how many people are experiencing this with no fix in sight.

I don’t see any pending posts on your account. Is this with another account?

(Also to give you a more direct answer: yes, scammers will use stolen credit cards to buy something to try to get an account to avoid detection)

Wow, I hadn’t even thought of the credit card scam. I had deleted my pending comment a while ago because the developer fixed the bug I was experiencing in a new update, and since they get flagged as pending I just stopped commenting. Sorry about the confusion!

They also just use hacked accounts, that might have had something purchased.

Account age and account spendings are not a green flag. Not even 2fa is a protection, as there are cookie theft attacks that circumvent two factor auth.

I didn’t realize that. It really sucks they have to deal with this. Now I get why the auto moderation is so strict.
