A lot of the instruments seem a little over compressed and very tightly panned in the mix, it makes some portions (like around the 1:20-1:40 section) sound a little blown out. It's not bad composition wise but there are some segments that're a little roughly mixed.

It's interesting that you say that. There is no compression on any individual instrument. The only compression is on the mix bus. It's a 2:1 ration only hitting 2db of compression on the drum peaks. Other than that the whole mix is uncompressed. As far as panning goes I kept the default panning on the Spitfire Audio Orchestra Pro instruments that were used. Not stereo widening was added either so it's pretty standard.
I'm glad that you enjoyed the composition though.
