the program seems to constantly try to minimize and maximize itself. it calms down if i focus another window but it won't let me use it beyond loading a rom. restarted the computer, but haven't tried it on another computer.

Thanks for the report, and sorry to hear you're having issues! This is very strange, I tested in 2 different laptops with 2 different versions of windows but cannot reproduce yet.
Also, the only way to minimize the app is either by the user or via this, but I'm not calling that API anywhere (not even on the E2E testing module).
So this makes me think this is very likely an external thing messing with the app, maybe the antivirus or similar? Then again, that usually closes apps/processes, they don't just minimize stuff. So yes, when you have a min to test, please let me know if this happens in another windows computer. Edit: a word.
Edit: Just updated the page/app to 0.1.1 btw (did it on GitHub but forgot to update in here). This probably has nothing to do with your issue tho, it's just some minor tweaks here and there, not related to the app's window.
Ok, I made some research and looks like this is fairly common, but it's most likely not an issue with PPUX itself. I got a couple questions:
- Does it happen in normal windowed mode, or only after going fullscreen (Ctrl+F)?
- Does it happen when you click another monitor, Alt+Tab, or when an overlay pops up (Discord, GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar, etc.)?
PPUX already runs with vsync off in its own config, so if it still minimizes, it's usually driver/fullscreen/overlay related rather than an app issue.
Edit: check this too.
