Ok, I was HOOKED. I spent significant time optimizing the daily company quota against whozit upgrades and the upgrades of resting and party areas. Surprisingly, I made it to day 31. Could've kept going but had to go get dinner. Still, I feel there's a huge gap for the "increase the money for the whutzits but increase 1 part to do them" upgrade. It ended up costing 2700 if i'm not mistaken, which was a gap since last price was around 900 or something? Might be wrong as this was on Sunday, but I did feel the gap. Anyways, really really fun game and addictive! I would've loved if we had more upgrades for improving efficiency as I hit the max one too soon I think.

Wow! Thats awesome! Super stoked you made it that far!
also I was heartbroken when I realized I did not get my training scaling into the final build somehow. at the last minute I changed the way the upgrade costs scale so instead of being multiplicative its additive. Im unsure how that was still in... but thats gamejams for ya!
Also the efficiency upgrades max out early because if I set it any lower than a half second the game breaks and I started to get negative integers for parts made hahaha. It was a really silly bug I could only fix by setting a limit on it.
Unfortunately, if the Whozhit becomes any more efficient he loses his mind completely and breaks everything
(Im curious if you figured out how to go into debt or not. Theres a lot for really neat strategies you can pull of that way. Lemme know!)
Actually, yeah! I think on my third playthrough I realized I could go into debt but did it accidentally though! Got nervous since I thought once the day ended, it'd be game over or something, but surprisingly it wasn't! I think that's what made me optimize more, since I prioritized training upgrades while still paying daily quotas! So that's what got me so far.
Also noted on the efficiency upgrade! Didn't know the logic on how the efficiency worked but read an earlier comment of yours on it too so now I'm clear. Thanks :)
As long as you pay by the end of the day, you're clear ;] Debtmaxx away, baby!
I'm really stoked to hear that you had such a great time with it. I was a little worried it would be too complex for some people at first to stick with it. It sounds like people are coming back to play, which makes me feel like I did something right. Thanks so much for coming back and letting me know that!
