Yes, the transition is intentional, a kind of “broken slow-motion” effect, but you’re absolutely right, I’ll work on making it clearer. Glad you noticed it 🙂
You’ve actually reached ending 1/3 👀 If you feel like replaying it on Wavedash, there’s also a leaderboard. I didn’t manage to fully integrate it visually in the game, but your time is still recorded with a random nickname 🙂
