Really cool stealth game!
The concept is there and I can see this with a lot of potential. It was a bummer that there was no SFX but I understand it's just a jam after all. The art is really nice especially for the escape and the hand.

Here are some points of improvements:
- I think there should be a tutorial of some sorts telling me I can crouch cause I didn't know till I read the controls in the description
- This is a web only issue but making Ctrl the crouch makes you close the tab if you press Ctrl + W😅
- There was a bug where when I escaped the enemy he would block me by like constantly pushing me to a wall and that just made the other enemy tweak out for some reason, it was really funny to see that though
- The door was a very nice idea and I actually quite liked it but opening it wasn't as easy, from what I understand you made the cursor have to touch the door handle right? I think making the entire hand touch the door handle to open would feel a lot better. But its a very cool concept, when I got it, it felt really satisfying to open the door.

I think if you worked on these improvements it has good potential to be a great stealth game. But overall, it's a really nice game and I quite enjoyed playing it. :D

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback, I really appreciate it! And I'm glad you liked my cursed finger maze 😅

Oh wow I completely overlooked that Ctrl+W will close your tab... For now I've just added a note to the controls section to give people a heads up, once voting has finished we'll release an update to address that though, great pickup!

Yeah the door handle's hitbox pretty much covers the handle sprite exactly, the hand is just there. Unfortunately I spent way too much time figuring out how to set the handle's angle correctly, and not enough thinking about how to make it more user friendly...

Definitely agree there should be an in-game tutorial for core keybinds, I planned to add a tutorial engraved in the pavement at the start, but decided to prioritise a title screen and win/game-over screen instead due to the time crunch. Lessons learned for next time!

Yeah it's alright, I just really liked that door knob mechanic because it reminds me a lot of Detroit become human's actions and they just made it super satisfying and yours has real good potential and I always do love a good stealth game. I personally think tutorial should be prioritized over start screen cause if they don't understand your game it's hard to play it, but don't worry yours didn't have that issue, it was easy to understand. Goodluck on updating this game and your next game :D
