Great question, let me first break down the versions of HFI currently out there:
- HFI Demo
- Currently available on itch (web+windows), galaxy.click, game jolt, newgrounds.
- Steam will eventually get a demo too, but not until it is more polished.
- HFI Beta
- Currently available on Steam (via beta key events or Ko-fi), with discord integration.
The unfortunate truth is that me supporting multiple platforms takes a ton of time (especially web), and so I'm hoping to keep things on the simpler side so I can spend more time developing the game and less time testing.
That being said, I would like to offer a full version of HFI on itch at some point, it just won't include a browser/web version. The demo web version will not be taken down though, and save files will continue to be compatible with the full version of the game!
As development of HFI continues, I will continue to assess with the community's help what platforms they would like to see the game on.
