Thank you for the great game. The first time I played was version 1.7, and at that time there was a progress bar showing the game was about 60–80% complete. But in version 1.8, that bar is gone. I’m wondering if the game is close to being finished according to your plan.

Also, once the game is complete, do you have any plans to continue developing this game or expand its universe further?

Already confirmed that 2.0 will be the last version, then there will be a Steam version of the game which includes an additional character and quest.

There are no plans to further develop content for the game after the steam release. Any updates after the steam release will be bug fixes and possibly translations (depending on how well the game performers on Steam)

There will then be a 6 months gap before Kal starts working on the next project. There is a possibility this could be a Starmaker Story spinoff, this would be set in the same universe but not include any of the current cast or locations.

I’ve never played a game that uses AI this well before. This game is truly excellent it gave me the same kind of enjoyment I felt when I played Tsumamigui 3, something I haven’t experienced in a long time.

I hope their future projects will also feature management systems and engaging progression routes like this. I’ll definitely be looking forward to supporting them.

Aye it is prime example of a project where the developer has the full concept and knowledge of the manual approach and AI is purely used to speed up and enhance the development cycle. A lot of manual touch up is still used to give Starmaker it's unique look and feel.

I am with you on your hopes, I am hoping we get a Starmaker Manager game with RPG elements after this... But time will tell...
