Hi, Thursday! I’ve fallen completely in love with the world of Basement Station and have been poring over this for a while now, trying to fit all of the parts together into something that works! I’ve finally gotten started now that I have a basic understanding of how everything moves together! I have however run into several unanswered questions that I have been house-ruling but would love answers to.


1) When rolling on delivery jobs, does the distraction roll just use the sum of the xd6 results?

2) In the same vein, would a route like Vent Hell to Arcade be considered a three-point route for the purposes of adding to the Distraction roll, or is it just every point minus the starting one?

3)If the HC can take the shortest path around the ring, no delivery job would ever end up being more than 3 stops - + 3d6 - so theoretically, would the higher rolled distractions become rarer and then impossible due to the shortcut clock benefits?

2) Working on Salvage has the HC rolling for degree of success on the job. Are delivery jobs meant to also feature that roll, which would presumably carry over to influence the outcome of the rolled Distraction and thus the success of the job?

2) Vent Hell to the Arcade would be 3d6: 1 by default, plus 1 each for Dock 21 and the Arcade itself.

3) Yes, shortcuts could make the highest Distractions mechanically impossible eventually. 

4) There's no roll/Move needed for a Delivery job unless the Distraction feels like it would necessitate one - otherwise, all you have to do is spend the time segment fulfilling the job.
