it's not what I expected, it's pretty bad. I am lost on what I'm supposed to do, there is way too much junk on screen, I dont know why it's having a fit over a barony size, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to raise gold. There is a quest log with just way too much junk in there, intro is sloppy and the character talks are some detached monstrosities. I give it a 5 for basic and no I won't even talk about the art, it's either you like it or not. But to me this just is sloppy.

Funnily enough the bottom side tab thing reminds me when I was testing out Twine for text based games.  But honestly, this feels less fun and more slog homework. I didn't know where the enemies were coming and when they arrived I though I was gonna fail but surprisingly my setup wasnt the worst.

Hopefully more updates will make it better but who knows.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed critique. I genuinely appreciate you being this honest—it's exactly the kind of 'cold shower' feedback that a developer needs.

I hear you loud and clear: the current UI is way too cluttered, the onboarding is confusing, and the game loop currently feels more like a chore than an engaging experience. I'm still early in the development process, and your points regarding the quest log, the 'barony size' mechanic, and the flow of the early game are all things I need to refine.

I'm definitely going to take your points to heart as I work on the upcoming patches. I'm aiming to clean up the interface and tighten the gameplay loop to make it feel less like a 'slog' and more like a game. Thanks for giving it a shot, and I hope to earn a better rating from you in the future.
