Well, thats a lot to digest, its very long and many characters are introduced into this kinda void world, some of them make sense, but many conversations doesn't seem to get anywhere, I think the story could be condensed into something shorter (and I'm aware that the demo section exists).

Characters are likeable, but I guess they should have some kind of attachment with their worlds, making them break the fourth wall so soon just shatters all sense of fantasy and immersion.

Yeah, it doesn't work to its benefit, but it's a part of the style I was aiming for (a parody game in the style of Busy Person, which is quite roundabout and lengthy)

The non-parody version of the game will probably be condensed dialogue-wise. I definitely went off the rails with it cuz it's the kind of thing I enjoy writing ^^;

I see, well, its a good thing that you enjoy writing, but it must have solid points so people can understand it better.
But I get it, I love the busy person series, what I like more about them is that they have simple characters that doesn't care that much about the plot and build some side stories within it, playing with that concept around touhou characters is quite easy because we had known them for years, so we can understand when they do something silly related to their personalities, because we understand that as a trope.

This narrative is way more hard to apply to new characters because  you need to introduce them first as a characters and then as a parody of themselves,  presenting then in a silly way just make it harder to set them in a more serious environment later on.

Thanks for the reply!
