As owner of a copy on steam and awaiting the release of Starbreed Im really happy to hear of a new Spunkstock and may the Firefest curse not touch this festival.
It will take a bit to get used to the new art but it's both nice the separation was in good terms and that the new artist is talented.
In regards to the exploration bit I have mixed feelings as I must say it was a charming and novel part of Spunkstock's identity but Id say as long as you find a way to showcase the different areas (maybe a Phoenix Wright navigation style?) in order to give the next one it's own identity I'll still be there for opening night
