It may seem like the lag is caused by the errors which can slow the game down. Try checking the console/logs.
Thanks for the reply on this. But does that mean we have to fix that ourselves? I'm not sure how.
I can't really give much of a support without logs, saves and such. Ideally I'd recommend starting a new game and making sure you are on latest version or visit discord
