I was sold a broken game, I can't see anything when I enter the game and I can't find anything about this bug.

Hi madsmikkelsenn,

Sorry for the issue, thanks for reporting it to us and sending the screenshot

If haven't already, could you try to re-download the game and see if it helps? Sometimes the files get corrupted during download and that can cause issues like this

If you still encounter the issue you can try use an alternate renderer. I'll post the instructions below:

If on Windows use this startup argument: --rendering-driver d3d12

Process of launching the game with a startup argument using Windows:

- Find the game's executable file (.exe)
- Right-click and create a shortcut to it
- Right-click the shortcut, open Properties and find the Target field
- Add the above argument to the end of the path (ensure there's a space between)
- Use the new shortcut to launch the game

If on Linux use this startup argument: --rendering-driver opengl3

When using Linux, you can launch it via the terminal adding the startup argument to the end (ensure there's a space between)

If that still doesn't fix it, could you send us an output log file? Instructions: https://idolsofash.com/support.html

There is obviously something wrong with your setup, specifically, whether the game files are corrupted, there’s some driver issue, or any other esoteric problem that’s not immediately apparent.

None of these things mean you were sold a broken game, considering the many others who haven’t had any issues.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t have reported it, as there is obviously something wrong, but immediately claiming the game is broken, implying that the developer is knowingly selling a non-functional product, is completely unnecessary and blatantly incorrect.
