EXTREMELY fun so far! i love pixel art, crunchy sound effects, and number go up games, so this was perfectly in my range <3
a few small things i noticed:
- i think the player is always layered under the enemies? this ends up looking funny if an enemy spawns on the tile youre standing on or one tile up
- it would be nice is coins were bound by the edge of the screen, though having a good magnet range can help, it can make some coins inaccessible
- once you have enough skins, they extend beyond the bottom of the menu and theres no scroll option

I'll address some stuff straight away :D
- The layering is something we're currently still thinking about but have no solution for as of now, it also look weird if the player is on top of the enemy so we might need to introduce some spawn restriction around the player
- Good call! have not noticed this myself so far but this can definitely happen, guess you'll just have to upgrade your magnet haha. I do know that they will never fly too far to collect so no worries about that!
- Yep! completely forgot to add scrolling functionality there when adding the last few skins that extend past the limit of the grid thanks for calling it out.

i know in gamemaker you can set an object's layer relative to its y position but i have no idea if this was made in gamemaker or not
