I enjoyed the interplay of Heat, Grit+Moxie and Overheat. As someone who gets quite attached to equipment, I like having the option to hang onto that special thing. I can imagine it would be really fun to balance in game while also fitting the theme nicely.
In general it feels like a really nice adaption in rules and as a fan of Slugblasters and Havoc I appreciate the cross pollination.
