Absolutely- Regarding the paddle size I also thought that they were a bit small, however I was mimicking the size of the original Atari pong, which was also small.
Regarding the mouse sensitivity, that's very fair and something my partner suggested when playing my game. One pixel of mouse movement = one pixel of paddle movement currently, but past a jam submission that is definitely something I could think about customizing. However, that would also require storing fractional pixels (i.e. moving 0.5 pixels to 1) and some of that math is a costly operation, so on my real DOS PC trying to do fractional x and y speeds for the ball was causing too much lag in the game, and it ran jittery. I didn't have enough time to look into mouse speed customization during the jam, but it's something I would look into if I refined the game further.
