Getting cornered by a bunch of couches was not on my list of things I was expecting to happen today. Also the music is fantastic.

This is the best game I've ever seen! It's fun, endless, and it even has a storyline. That's exactly what I love. So far, this is the BEST game in the Game Jam!

Thank you for playing our game and your very kind message :o!

Oh wow. This is incredible. The audio and the visuals are excellent. I love the mood that you have set. I wouldn't be surprised if this got the first place. It would be well deserved. Amazing job.

It took me a bit to set the mouse sensitivity (you have a type there btw) and doing so while getting chased by chairs was a scary experience. I suffered some rapid camera movements after choosing an upgrade which wasn't a big issue until later part of the game where I got stuck in a huge group of benches and almost got mauled to death.

Overall, absolutely awesome game. I would dream about chair apocalypse again.

Really fun game! I wasn't expecting cutscenes in a game jam project. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for playing our game! We took the decision to create narrative content for the first time, they are quite simple and short but glad you enjoyed it :)!

the game has a very cool vibe. the enemy variations are great, at one point i turned the corner and saw nothing but couches as far as the eye can see. Good stuff.

Developer

Thank you for your comment! At some point we wanted to add bigger enemies but unfortunately we ran out of time.

was pretty fun wave based roguelike nice job, and nice touch with the cutscene at the end

Thank you :)! It was our first time doing cutscenes and was pretty fun to do!

Having a cutscene in a 48 hour jam is pretty ambitious and you definitely delivered! The game felt well paced and every time I thought I had seen the last new enemy a new type appeared. I was a little confused whether the speed upgrade was movement speed or attack speed but that is a very minor critique of a great submission!

Thank you for your comment <3! It was our first time doing cutscenes and was fun to do!
Perhaps we could add the scarecrow as a new enemy hahaha

The intro was hilarious! The upgrade screen always came during an attack, so I accidentally clicked it almost every time.  I think a "confirm choice  button" would fix that issue.

Developer

Thank you for playing our game and sharing your feedback—we applied a fix regarding the upgrade screen, it should fix the issue :)!

Amazingly polished and fun, but the game tends to lag when the corn is on screen. Other than that, it is fantastic!
