Hey there - thanks for checking out the game!
I just downloaded the DMG and gave it a try on another Mac and when I die I end up starting over (once the dialogue about it has finished playing).
Things can be a little slow to load on the Mac since I think shaders are being precompiled without any kind of progress bar.
