You can also just download it, extract it, and add the RenegadeV2.exe as a Non-Steam game to Steam, and it will play perfectly via using Proton
That's what I did with my Steam Deck too. I also made a layout that works pretty good, to bad the game isn't on steam. Then I could share it on the community hub.
I didn't even know you could do that! I'll check it out.
