It's just like promising to start dieting and exercising tomorrow, only to come up with excuses and keep delaying it.
Ckyman made a better analogy, this analogy you are presenting is completely wrong, because it seems you cannot differentiate between an explanation and an excuse:
Explanation: "Sorry guys the release was set to X Day, but my computer video card just blew up" (this is just an example, you can change it for: "There are game breaking bugs, and we cannot release it like this"
Excuse: "I had a minor headache 3 weeks ago, so I didn't have time to work on the update"
As said before, some things are simply not in one's hands, and to this day not a single really "bug free" software exists.
Well... that's the beauty of it all, and why only after release things can start taking shape with sneaky stuff. There are a good plenty of graphical bugs, code bugs and glitches in Crimson Desert, the game has them but that doesn't mean everyone hits them. Of course that doesn't take away from the game, is still amazing, although I would say is trying to do too much.
Getting out of tutorial land after 10-13 hours is crazy lol. Still an amazing game.
Aye it is not my first Pearl Abyss game, Black Desert was the exact same at launch and still is to this day really... The glitches are annoying at times, but the game is a marvel and is everything I wanted it to be Final Fantasy XIV/Witcher game set in a Game of Thrones like universe with dream-like sci-fi. Cannot judge it too harshly cause I know it will be one of them games I just pick up and play for years to come. and will get patched with fixes and goodies all the time.
That being said I wish Pearl Abyss would get better at fucking learning to mix audio, jez christ if I am not forever playing with the audio settings in both their games 🙄
