I have to admit I did not expect this when I logged into my itch account today, it was a nice surprise to be sure.
I have entered around 50 jams on itch and submitted to at least half of those joined and I never have received anything like this before, even for coming first place and in the top three on a few occassions.
I think it's important for small hobbyist devs to engage and get recognition for small accomplishments like submitting to game jams. Speaking from personal experience, it keeps them motivated, ensuring they retain interest in pursuing game development as an excellent artistic and productive outlet.
Things like this certainly help, so thank you. Looking forward to playing the other games, rating and giving feedback on everything then also looking forward to whatever you come up with in the future in terms of game jams. If it catches my eye, I'll be there for sure :)

I'm glad to have given you a happy kind of surprise. ☺️
I love seeing different game ideas come to life.
The human mind and creativity sure is amazing. I also think all efforts, no matter how big or small, deserve a reward.
You did so well, and I wanted you to know that. I also made sure, it is known to everyone who would check your entry.
Congratulations once again, and, see you soon in my future game jam hosting. ☺️
