Waystones are only at cities and towns - no wild ones unfortunately. BUT there's a rare consumable called Wayfarer's Whey that teleports you straight back to your home campfire from anywhere, no waystone needed. Keep an eye out for it in shops and dungeon loot. Also worth exploring for Riftstones - there are a few paired teleporters scattered across the continent that work independently from waystones. And if you haven't placed your homestead yet, setting up near a town with a waystone is a solid move for the farmer life!
