It was fun to see this as a concept for recording beat maps. I think it was hard to predict what was going to happen in the song, so maybe the addition of a waveform would make it easier. It also felt like my notes were mistimed when I went to play the song back so maybe changing the timing a beat or the option to do so would be a good improvement.
