Hey there, this a neat little submission you've put together. Both tracks fit the idea of background music quite nicely.

I think the vibe of your first track was excellent. I'd probably agree with some others that there's a bit of a harmonic clash between the bass and everything above it. Additionally, I personally think the bass is pushing through a little too much in the mix to the point that it can make other instruments harder to hear. I'd probably suggest reducing the bass volume so that the other instruments playing a more melodic role can better be heard. I may also consider trying to write some more noticeable variations in your melodies, which could help keep interest higher throughout the track.

What I enjoy most about your second track is the simplicity, both as an arrangement and as a composition. All of which makes for good background music. I think if I were to give you feedback here, I'd say to maybe try to work more with the dynamics. Especially in the instruments playing the melody, having that contrast between playing quietly and then playing louder can make the track feel a little more musical imo. Same could probably be said for some of the melodic instruments in the first track.

Thanks for sharing what you've made, and keep up the good work :)
