Yes, old character designs are perfectly okay if no old art is used for the jam game and you are the original creator of them.

As for the SFW rule: the game should be such that one should be able to play it in front of teens without raising too many eyebrows. Some of DoA5's DLC costumes (e.g. the topless flower garland) would be too risky for this jam, but if you hover around ~DoA2/DoA Dimensions designs, I think it should be fine. In case of doubts, feel free to link one design you want to ask about and I will discuss it with the other judges.

The first picture, wouldn’t do the bulge design with these specifications. This would probably be the only character, don’t think I can do multiple characters in a month.

Seems fine to me, with the adjustment you suggested. The jam would require two characters, but worst case scenario the second can be a palette swap of the first with slightly altered moveset.

Alright! Aah yeah forgot. Well palette swap or I’ll give second character a shot and I’ll keep them within these guidelines.
