Hey, I really love this! the vibe is killer! tbh i got this to see how you achieved this look in UE and probably wont be using it out of respect and just wanting to take a crack at it myself, but theres one thing i really can wrap my head around. How did you achieve that "stepped wind" kind of effect. I mean "Style 3". What is gating the wind making it look jittery? I've tried looking at the documentation and the vertex snapping only goes so far. I already have my own BPs and im doing my project in C++ and wanted to learn some stuff from your pack (i already have learned a lot about the foliage tbh so thank you again). Is there any way to connect on this or get an explanation? More than happy to join the patreon or compensate you for your time!

Thanks so much! Really happy to hear all of that :)
As far as the snapping trick, there's a couple things at play. The directional light is being lerped between default smooth rotation, and a "snapped" rotation that uses the Round node to make it look like it's moving at a lower frame rate. You can find that functionality in the Tick event of BP_Forest. It's the first group of nodes there. For the material snapping, I basically researched several methods to simulate that look, and tweaked it until I found one that looked the way I wanted. In M_ForestMaster, check the Vertex Snapping section. It's just a few math nodes. Those are then combined with the wind offset with an Add node, and then added to the World Position Offset. I would recommend looking at those specific areas and seeing if you can make sense of them first. You should be able to just copy the nodes over to your own project for the same effect. If you have more questions, please let me know, and I'll do my best to explain! No need to become a patron! I'm happy to help, and just grateful you bought the pack :) I'll make sure you get it figured out.
