I thought it was clever to stylise assets like that and turn around a 3d game in a short time. The main mechanic was a cool idea but I found it too fiddly to get past the manhole cover bit.

Yea, for some reason controlling the movement of objects is way harder in the web build than in the Windows build. It makes no sense but this is an issue i've noticied in Unity, web builds can be drastically different with physics controls.
