Nice idea and love the map! And also that you can steal from them and call it a tax. I read the other comments and believe that if you put in a little more effort into the reactions of the vendors (like haggling, etc.) that this really could be a lot of fun! Regarding the map: Maybe putting the red pin over the blue one would have helped the player to understand where the current location is on the map. For a game done in a week you put in so much elements - good job!
