I've been pretty hit-or-miss on the character writing. Some parts made me chuckle but by the time I finished the cutscene with the Necromancer, I kind of tapped out of my investment in the character of Marcus. Hwaran was a more fun protagonist to be around at least, even if her Dad was pushing her in a relationship.

I think it's mainly because Marcus was written to be a loser, he's kind of an ass overall. Just since once the jam is finished I plan to extend the game and hopefully give everyone the character development that couldn't be provided over the course of a jam.
PS: Hundred Percent Agree, Hwaran is the better character since she wasn't written to be a joke like the rest.
