I believe it happens if you don't hit the "Resume" button after getting loaded into the game and just keep walking to the left. I got stuck again with the "(sighs), let me get another one" text pop-up.
Okay well that isn’t good I still can’t believe I forgot to turn off the pause menu in the tutorial
