Thank you for the reply. The game was recently ported for the LÖVE framework. The provided binaries include custom-themed content and gameplay features which were created during the jam and specifically for the jam. I have just uploaded a .love package as per your request.
Thanks for the reply. You can the play the online version at https://2dengine.com/game/wordsearch
Per the rules the game must be made during the jam, not ported. Can you clarify if it was fully made after the13th of march
Additionally, please include a .love, per the rules:
Your game must work with an official version of LÖVE (nightlies are allowed).
Ports of LÖVE, frameworks based on LÖVE, or any other engine/framework are NOT allowed.
You can upload additional builds using ports as long as there is a version that can run with an official LÖVE version.
Please note that I have used the word "ported" loosely before. It is fair to say that Word Search is a complete rewrite (from a different programming language). The Counter-themed gameplay was made during the jam and specifically for the jam.
Word Search works with the official version of LÖVE, although the jam rules do not explicitly state that including the .love file is required. Please update the jam rules page if this is an official requirement.
We are fine with leaving this be, with the assumption of the existing word search game being on a different language and being fully ported to LÖVE during the jam period.
I’m also fine with there not being a .love file, I was able to uncompress a .love from your provided executables and your web port.
Next time it would help that you clarify what was made during the Jam somewhere, just for ease of mind of everyone playing/judging and us hosts.
I hope you had fun and we hope you participate again on the next one.
