Hello,

recently couple of my private accounts got hacked, among them, my itch account where I had couple of purchases on, as well as uploaded my games.

The hacker apparently changed the email, so I can’t login. There’s a good chance the hacker replaced some of the games on the old page with malware, since that’s their specialty. I currently have no way to directly earn the followers of that page. One game page also still has a Discord link displayed that points to a server that the hacker also got hold of and should be avoided.

I contacted support a week ago, but haven’t heard a single thing from them yet, so I’m posting here in my desperation. Please help!

My username was MumeiMiyafuji, and the itch page accordingly mumeimiyafuji.itch.io

The game page with the bad discord link is mumeimiyafuji.itch.io/orange-smash

Thank you very much for any kind of help in advance!

This just happened to my itch.io account as well, only a few days ago. I was able to recover the password and gain access, but now I'll be re-uploading all files to another server... hopefully one that is more reliable.

That sucks, but I'm glad you were able to get your account back!

Unfortunately, I didn't have any luck so far, and the itch support just doesn't seem to do anything about it :-/

I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope you can eventually get it back.
