Talking about this point-and-click section:

General info on the guide
These guides will give you hints for the minigame, with each hint giving away more and more of the answer. This way, if you don’t want to just see the solution, you can just look at the first hints and try it yourself again.
Also, I’ll be assuming you know about the skip options for minigames (see here).
Minigame description
Yuma gives you a list of seven items to collect from the basement, so you gotta collect ’em all!
There are few puzzles/riddles along the way which you gotta solve. The puzzles usually have hints that you find first, though once you know the solution, you can skip collecting the hints.
Hint 1
Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way: You can collect 5 out of the 7 items directly. The image below shows the locations.
Collecting the salt also hands you a hint for another item.
Hint 2
The hint you got is a pictogram for the items on the shelf where the salt is (second shelf from the top on the left). This means that the farthest left item on the hint represents the salt.Other than the salt, there are three oils on the shelf, so you have to deduce which oil is which from the hint (you always get the same multiple choice for identifying the oils).
Hint 3
Other than the salt, the hint shows walnuts, gears (representing a machine) and a sunflower. So, after the salt, from left to right, we got walnut oil, machine oil and sunflower oil on the shelf.
After collecting the walnut oil, we just have one item left to collect!
But of course, the last item is the hardest to get 😅
Hint 4
The last item is in this trunk, but it needs a 4-digit code. There are four hints (one for each digit) hidden away for you to find.
One of the hints can be found in the drawer on the right (no. 2). But, the drawer is screwed tight, so you’ll first need the screwdriver from the drawer on the left (no. 1) and then interact with the right drawer to get the hint.
Three more to go!
Hint 6
The last hint is in the lower cupboard on the right side, but it's locked with a mechanism that requires some sort of code. The corresponding code is in the basket (no. 3), but the paper with the code is buried all the way under the apples (and cucumber). Is there any place where you could transfer the contents of the basket into?
And no, 'just dump it on the floor' isn't the right answer here, even though it would technically work, of course 😅
Hint 7
That's right, the intended location for transferring the apples (and cucumber) is the empty basket right next to it!So, to obtain the code, you have to first interact with basket no. 3, then with the empty basket, and then basket no. 3 again.
Now you have a code with differently sized circles that you need to open the lower cupboard on the right.
Congrats, now you got all hints for the digit code!
Hint 8
Arranging all hints, you get:8L12
Hmm… but ‘L’ isn’t a number, and we can’t input it.
Is there any other way to look at the paper on which the code is written so that it makes more sense?
Big hint: This works best on a mobile device 😉
Hint 9
That's right, the paper was simply upside-down! Takashi mistook the orientation first since most of the numbers are written in a way that they can be read even when flipped upside-down.So, the actual code is:
2178
Inputting the code gives us the last item, and a mysterious message.
Since we have all items, we could leave the basement now, but would miss out on a secret item… we wouldn’t want that, right? 😉
The mysterious message is about a person writing a code the wrong way round, but it still worked for them.
Which code could this refer to?
Hint 10
Interacting with the trunk doesn't let us input a code anymore, but the lower right cupboard still lets us input codes! So, yeah. The lower right cupboard is where the secret is^^
Simply input the circle code in reverse order to get the secret item… a side story ticket! ✨
With this, you can access the Christmas side story! In future, there might also be other side stories unlockable with tickets like this one 🙂

Selecting the center right stone would cause a loss. But selecting the green circled stone avoids the loss.
