Great game! The turn-based combat and roguelite mechanics were surprisingly engaging and the story did a good job introducing and explaining each of them. I didn't notice any bugs either, which I think is quite impressive for a project that clearly pushes the boundaries of a visual novel. I lost to the final boss the first time, and had to replay the whole game because I didn't realize I was supposed to save manually.😂 Fortunately it didn't take too long once I knew what I was doing, and I managed to get the Unity ending!
Might actually be my favorite game so far in terms of theme implementation as well, I really liked how the various themes were reflected both in gameplay and the narrative. I also enjoyed the writing and humor a lot and was quite attached to the main characters' antics by the end (which is why I don't think I'll be going for any of the "bad" endings, although I am kinda curious...).
If you're planning to continue working on it after the jam (or any future projects in this style), I think different backgrounds for the various sub-areas would be a nice addition. I rate this gay baby jail 8/10, would get jailed again!
