i just accidentally deleted my extremely long live reading comment im getting killed over here with my lack of a clipboard history. i Will say each and every ending was endearing to me in some way and im glad rutile has her sense of peace in each one of them. extremely rich and lovely story. i loooove yuri and butches and especially maid/mistress yuri. i love twists and iterations of cinderella as a classic. rutile and alle playing into their cycle of cruelty for the sake of survival and comfort is heart wrenching. beautiful game and characters. i like that theyre so fittingly foils of each other and play into the same role of a cinderella in the end. calcite and gabriel were equally lovely presences. i do wonder what the kept gift was from alle's mother. alle and rutile are sort of pink & purple yuri to me and i find it entertaining. i also loved rutile's symbolism being hinted at multiple times to be a rat/mouse (cinderella!) and at times a stray cat. gabriel's ending was the one i retrieved first and i found it bittersweet with how breathtaking alle's death was and how they spoke to each other, and im extremely glad to see rutile thriving without socioeconomic boundaries and an eerie accomplice in the form of gabriel. i just tend to favor the sweeter endings despite everything. calcite's ending was solemnly peaceful and i love love loved the flashback to them as children, seeing them retain their habits from when they were young. youd think a marriage pact would be the sweetest thing between kids in terms of yuri tropes but the promise to give rutile a proper burial with respect and kind regard was incredibly meaningful. even though i was a little jarred by his grin but i loved it as much as the other ending. my personal interpretation of his smile and dialogue was that he was glad of the socioeconomic and personality barrier and gap between them ? never seeing eye to eye in terms of status or actual eye contact, and then reaching the same through death - in contrast to gabriel making her reach his status and even higher. the last one im getting now is the alle ending as i truly love them together. each and every one of them have smiles that terrify you a little in their own way but i like that rutile simply becomes more genuine in her expressions over time with her frowns and smiles. but i also like that rutile still became teary-eyed in the alle ending. every ending really but her sprite's sincerely angry with a slight tear was notable to me. i love you perpetually nervous rutile. i like that their names are kind of like . alle = cinderElla backwards and rutile sounding kind of like rat but there might be a deeper etymology or reason for her name and im not sure. i also love the trope of painter characters with red paint splatters on them to symbolize blood.  yay <3 thank you for the work. such a charming game

i love that the title is homekeeping. its their hooooome and theyre isolated and keeping to themselves and what it means to them varies by person and status. also i love each of their flaws .. i think rutile's resentment of alle is reasonable because despite every consideration of alle to treat her as an equal(?) in role she never does give her a raise and retains their gap in lifestyle and ease/comfort. i really love their dynamic. shes ignorant in the assumption that rutile would be satisfied as is, though not deliberately keeping it that way like calcite. ahhhh im almost done with the alle ending now and its so so so so sweet. lovely music. this is the most affectionate ending despite everything. some of her arrogance and assumptive nature is kept from the 'until next time' and dead silence without a reply in contrast to rutile's 'goodbye'. especially emphasized by the 'how can you live without me'. i loooove them. this truly was homekeeping (its their home) (they kept their home and kept by themselves inside the home ... homekeeping). it saddens me that rutile believes in it and plays into it by continuing to be her maid and referring to alle as her mistress with gratitude. its still awful for rutile but its my favorite ending just because of its sweetness. at the very least theyre comfortable together despite the codependency. the beloved painting of The Maid .... her work and the resolution of their lives and relationship ended in her work being exposed to the light of the world after all, without the constraints of their past lives and criticism of society. i love that rutile was immortalized in the kinder way of art after all the talk about death and remembrance. i think this one game is my favorite from the spica arsenal of games just because of these characters.
